Privacy Policy

Short version: the files and text you put into these tools are processed by your own browser and never reach us. We hold no accounts and no uploads. The only third parties involved are named below.

Your files

Files you open in any tool on this site are read and processed by your own browser. They are not uploaded, copied or stored on our servers, and they are discarded from memory when you close or reload the tab.

Text you type

Text entered into converters, generators and calculators stays in the page. It is not transmitted anywhere and is not saved between visits.

Cookies

We set no cookies of our own for tool state, and nothing you type or upload in a tool is stored by us. Optional cookies you may encounter here come from Google Analytics and the advertising described in the next section — they are set by Google, not by PixelAndPDF.

You can block or delete those cookies in your browser; the tools do not depend on them. For Google Analytics you can also use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

This site is funded by advertising, which is what keeps every tool free and free of sign-up walls. Ads are served by Google, a third-party vendor, and are clearly labelled and kept outside the tools themselves.

• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Advertising never receives your files or the text you type, because that content is never sent anywhere. When AdSense Privacy & messaging is enabled, visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland may see Google’s own consent message for personalised ads.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-TJNG9QTDFM) to understand which pages are visited, roughly where traffic comes from, and how the site performs. Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers for that measurement. Analytics never receives your files or the text you type into a tool — that work stays in your browser.

Google’s processing of this data is described in Google’s privacy policy. You can limit Google Analytics via browser settings, extensions, or Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, requested path) for security and abuse prevention. These are retained for a short period and are not used for advertising.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, California or another region with data protection law, you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. In practice we hold no profile to send you: there are no accounts, no uploaded files and no advertising identifiers under our control. We do not sell or share personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, or to ask a question about this policy, email hello@pixelandpdf.com. Requests about advertising identifiers held by Google should also be raised with Google, as it acts as its own controller for that data.

Children

The site is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
